Earning your S.T.R.I.P.E.S. is about more than earning rewards. It means practicing the habits that will help you succeed in high school and beyond — whether your next step is college, career, trade school, the military, or something else entirely.
Students who demonstrate these qualities may also earn opportunities for prizes, incentives, special activities, and recognition throughout the school year.
Students who earn S.T.R.I.P.E.S. may qualify for:
🎟️ Weekly drawings — one student per grade level
🏆 End-of-semester drawings — one student per grade level
☀️ End-of-year Field Day — students earning 5 or more S.T.R.I.P.E.S.
🎓 Four-Year S.T.R.I.P.E.S. Award — students earning all 7 S.T.R.I.P.E.S. for all four years
S.T.R.I.P.E.S. are about becoming the kind of person who is respectful, responsible, involved, prepared, engaged, and ready for whatever comes next.
Show respect for yourself, other students, staff, our campus, and other people's property.
You can demonstrate this by:
Following staff directions without disrupting the learning environment.
Following W-Book expectations.
Treating people and their belongings respectfully.
Showing integrity and doing the right thing even when nobody is watching.
Use school and personal technology in ways that support learning.
You can demonstrate this by:
Bringing your charged Chromebook and charger to school.
Following the school-wide cell phone policy.
Staying on appropriate websites and programs during class.
Using tools such as Canvas, Edpuzzle, and Google Docs for their intended purpose instead of gaming or browsing unrelated content.
Start preparing now for whatever comes after high school.
You can demonstrate this by:
Meeting with your counselor to explore college and career pathways.
Staying focused in your classes and working toward strong grades.
Attending college, scholarship, financial aid, and career workshops.
Participating in the College & Career Fair and learning about different schools and careers.
High school is more than sitting in a classroom — get involved!
You can demonstrate this by:
Joining a club, sport, team, band, FFA, Drama, SkillsUSA, or another campus organization.
Attending school events and supporting other Tigers.
Participating in rallies, spirit weeks, class activities, or the Orange & Black Pack.
Volunteering at school or in the community.
Helping with local events, recreation programs, community cleanups, and other service opportunities.
Showing up matters.
You can demonstrate this by:
Attending school regularly.
Arriving to every class on time and prepared.
Being in your seat and ready to begin when class starts.
Maintaining strong attendance with no unexcused absences or tardies.
Attending Saturday School when needed to clear absences.
Learning requires more than simply being in the room.
You can demonstrate this by:
Coming to class with the materials you need.
Actively participating in lessons and activities.
Asking questions.
Seeking help when you do not understand something.
Meeting with teachers when you need additional support.
Taking care of yourself is part of being successful.
You can demonstrate this by:
Being physically active and making nutritious food choices.
Abstaining from drugs and alcohol.
Prioritizing your mental health.
Practicing healthy coping skills.
Asking for help when you need it.
Reaching out to a counselor or social worker for guidance and support.
