Leaving During Class

Class Rules/Expectations:
If you need to go to...
the restroom
the water station
the library
the office
the nurse
ATS
your locker
another class because you forgot something
outside for a few minutes of fresh air
Just follow the 4 steps below ↓
Step 1:
Do not leave during the first 10 or last 10 minutes of class
Step 2:
Do not leave during direct instruction (teacher is teaching, video is playing, timer is almost up)
Step 3:
One student at a time — look for the pass by the door (large blue water jug)
Step 4:
Sign out and take the pass — sign in when you returnÂ
You have 5 minutes to return!
As long as you are following these steps, you do not need to raise your hand or verbally ask Ms. Tyack.
If you think you will be gone longer than 5 minutes, you must notify Ms. Tyack before leaving so she can provide you with a different pass. You must still sign out/sign back in when you return.
