π Performance Assessments (30%)
This category includes essays, projects, presentations, and ACES benchmarks where you demonstrate your skills in more formal ways. These assignments show your ability to apply what youβve learned in meaningful contexts.
π Cumulative Assessments (20%)
This category includes midterms and finals that measure your overall mastery of course concepts throughout the entire term.
Ms. Tyack does not "round up" grades.Β
If a student wishes to improve their grade, they may complete a "Correct & Resubmit form" for any skill-building activities (Edpuzzles, worksheets, discussion boards, etc.).Β Β
Scores % go up = Grades % go up!Β
IMPORTANT NOTES:
"Correct & Resubmit" scores will be updated in Aeries at the end of each quarter.
Late work scores will only be updated in Aeries during end-of-cycle grading periods (progress reports + quarter report cards) β please refer to the "Late Work" page under Class Information for more details.Β
After a quarter ends, work from that quarter will no longer be accepted.
